What kind of information is stored?

1. Purchasing

To make a purchase at pinkfish.no we need your name, address, telephone number and e-mail address. We need this to send you your order, and to keep you informed about the process.

If you choose to open a customer profile, your personal information is stored in your account. You can change all your information or delete your account under My Profile. If you make a purchase as a guest, the personal information will only be stored in your order.

We’re obligated to store all order information due to accounting and tax purposes, all data will automatically be deleted after ten years.

2. Payment

When you use a credit- or debet card to pay for your order at pinkfish.no, payment and card information will be shared with our supplier Stripe. This information is only used to make the payment.

To make shopping easier, you will be given the option to store your credit card information with our supplier. We do not store your card information except referring to it with an identifier. The payment supplier stores all information in a secure and safe manner, and is certified PCI Level 1.

3. Ordering food

When you order food at pinkfish.no, your order is processed via Weorder AS. This service has their own terms and conditions, including a privacy policy. When you log in to the ordering system you can read and accept this information.

4. Newsletter

We want to send you special deals and campaigns via e-mail, if you choose to subscribe. When you submit the subscription form, we store your name and e-mail address. This information is stored at the Mailchimp server. You can unsubscribe at any time by following the link at the bottom of a newsletter you receive from us.

5. Statistics

pinkfish.no is connected to the external service Metorik for statistics and reporting. Metorik receives information about customers and orders from our webshop, and stores the same information as we store in our databases. By deleting your account with us, all information is automatically deleted from Metorik.

Cookies

Cookies are files stored on your unit to gather standard information about the visitor and use of the website. Most of these cookies are necessary to ensure proper function, and to allow the placement of orders. pinkfish.no uses the following cookies:

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to analyse how visitors use our website. The information stored is anonymous, like for example the number of pages visited, how many visits etc. We’re doing this to increase the user friendliness of our website, and to understand what users find interesting. The information is stored by Google Inc.

WordPress and WooCommerce

pinkfish.no is built on WordPress and WooCommerce. Both services store necessary cookies to allow logging in and making a purchase. Without these cookies, the site will not function as it should.

Metorik

Metorik stores information about the order when a purchase is placed on pinkfish.no. The purpose of this service is described above.

Facebook and Google advertising
